Quality since 1988

Kollwig Holz was founded in 1988 as a lumber trade

agency. The business idea was to import high-quality oak

and ash timber from the Slavonic growing region

and to directly sell it to the wholesale trade.

 

The first wood yard with dry kilns and air-conditioned

warehouses was built in Großarl (Salzburg) in 1995 and

extended in 1998. The aim was to trade with, dry and store

European and American hardwood (www.kollwigholz.at)

 

In 2003, an additional warehouse was built in Böheimkirchen

(Lower Austria) with the aim to trade with, dry and

store all European types of hardwood – besides

flooring strips and planks for the parquet industry.
